Privacy Policy

Effective date: 22 October 2026.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by ENGRexpert. You can contact us at info@engrexpert.com.

2. What this website collects

  • Enquiry form: name, email, a WhatsApp or contact number, institution or organisation, department, country, customer category, discipline, service, project description, timeline, budget range, preferred contact method and optional notes you choose to enter.
  • Nothing automatically by this site's code: the site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
  • Hosting logs: the web host or CDN may keep technical logs (such as IP address and requested page). The host's policy applies to these logs.

3. How enquiry data are processed

Enquiries are delivered either (a) through the external form service used by this website (Web3Forms), or (b) by email composed in your own email program. If no delivery service is configured, the form does not transmit data. Form entries are not stored in your browser.

4. Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, assess scope and prepare proposals.

5. Confidential material

Please do not submit confidential datasets, unpublished results or personal data of third parties through the form. Secure transfer is arranged separately.

6. Sharing and international transfers

Data may be processed by the form service and email provider used to deliver enquiries, possibly in other countries. We do not sell personal data.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. To make a request, email info@engrexpert.com.

8. Changes

Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date.

About this policy

This policy describes how this website is built, what data it handles and how enquiries are used. Questions or requests about it can be sent to info@engrexpert.com.

What the website's code does and does not do

The site's code sets no cookies, includes no analytics or advertising scripts, loads no third-party fonts or libraries from external servers and does not write form data to the browser's local storage, session storage or cookies. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from the same origin. This design minimises data collection by the website itself.

The web host or content delivery network may nevertheless keep technical logs such as IP address, requested pages and timestamps. The host's policy applies to these logs.

The enquiry form: what you enter and where it goes

The form asks for name, email, a WhatsApp or contact number, institution or organisation, department, country, customer category, discipline, service, project description, timeline, budget range, preferred contact method, target journal, available software or data, and optional notes. These fields help to understand the request. Entries are validated in your browser. The message is sent to the form service, Web3Forms, and then to ENGRexpert; if sending fails or is blocked, the form prepares an email in your own email program, which you can send yourself.

If no delivery service is configured, the form does not transmit data. It never displays success for a message that has not been sent.

Data minimisation: what we recommend you not send

Please do not include confidential datasets, unpublished results, personal data of third parties, health or financial information, passwords or identity documents in the form. Describe the project at a general level. After scoping, secure file transfer is arranged separately. Minimising data lowers risk for everyone.

If you need to share sensitive information, tell us first so that we can agree on an appropriate arrangement.

Why we use your information

Information from the form is used to respond to your enquiry, to assess scope and feasibility and to prepare proposals. It is not used for advertising. Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed for the enquiry and any resulting engagement, and is then deleted or archived as required by law.

If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will consider the request according to applicable law and our obligations.

Sharing, processors and international transfers

The enquiry form delivers entries through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form-handling service, which passes them on to ENGRexpert by email. Data may therefore be processed by Web3Forms and by our email provider, possibly in other countries. Please read Web3Forms' own privacy information to see how it handles submissions. We do not sell personal data. If you click the WhatsApp chat button or a WhatsApp link, you leave this website and the conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy; ENGRexpert receives the number and messages you choose to send, and uses them only to respond to your enquiry.

If new tools are added, such as analytics or a scheduling service, this policy must be updated before they go live.

Your rights and how to exercise them

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, or to data portability, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To make a request, email info@engrexpert.com; we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on it.

You can also use the contact page.

Security

Security measures include serving the website over encrypted connections when deployed with HTTPS, a restrictive content security policy and avoiding inline scripts. We aim to secure email and form-service accounts with strong authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a security incident affecting personal data occurs, we will follow applicable legal notification requirements.

Children and sensitive categories

The website and services are not directed at children. Please do not submit data about children or special categories of personal data. If such data are received, they will be deleted where possible and the sender informed.

Changes to this page

Updates will be posted on this page, with the effective date. Material changes should be communicated where appropriate. Visitors are encouraged to review the page periodically.

A walk-through of what happens when you send an enquiry

You open the contact page and fill in the form. Your browser validates the entries and shows messages for missing or invalid fields. When you submit, the code decides how to deliver the message. If a delivery endpoint is configured, the message is sent to that service, and the page shows success only if the service confirms. If no endpoint is configured, or the request fails, the page offers to open an email in your own mail program with the message prepared. In either case, nothing is saved in your browser after you leave the page.

Once ENGRexpert receives your message, we use it to respond. Further processing is limited to assessing scope and preparing proposals, as described in this policy.

Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

The website does not set cookies and does not include analytics, advertising pixels, social media plug-ins or embedded third-party media. If any of these are added in future, this policy and, where required, a consent mechanism will be updated before they go live.

Your browser or network may still set its own technical data, outside the control of this site.

Retention, deletion and backups

Enquiry emails and form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond and to carry out any resulting engagement, and are then deleted or archived as required by law. Engagement records are kept for as long as needed for contractual and legal reasons.

If you want your enquiry deleted, ask via the contact page or at info@engrexpert.com and we will consider the request under applicable law.

Email and communication preferences

The form asks for a preferred contact method. It will be used only to respond to your enquiry and for related project communication. The website does not run newsletters or marketing campaigns. If that changes, the policy will be updated and consent obtained where required.

Please use an email address that you check regularly and that is appropriate for the subject of your enquiry.

Links to other websites

The website may link to external resources such as standards bodies, journals or databases. Those sites have their own policies, which this page does not cover. Following a link may share information such as your IP address with the external site.
